MINUT]/S CITY COUNCIL APRIL 9, 2003 CANADA ROAD Road. The City Administrator noted that the City's policy has been to proceed with acquisitiai of Round Lake properties as they become available, and a number of properties have been acquired to date. It was the Administrator's position that the property at 60 Little Canada Road would not add much value to the parldopen space area that the City is trying to assemble on the north side of Round Lake. The reasons are that acquisition funds are limited, 60 Little Canada'Road is on the edge of the area, and there are two properties in the center of this park area that would add more value and thus have a higher priority. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOI. UTION NO. 2003-4-77 -ACCEPTING TIIE RECOMMENDATION OF TAE PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION TO NOT PROCEED W/TH TITF. PURCHASE OF 60 LITTLE CANADA ROAD The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ACTION PLAN - Mayor Fahey noted that the Council held a workshop prior to the Council COMPL)TION meeting to review action plans related with completion of 2003 goals. At OF TRAIL that workshop, the consensus was to proceed with obtaining pricing for SYSTEM completion of three trail segments in the City. Pricing would be obtained via. achange-order to the 2003 Improvement Projects bid, or by including these projects as part of the Market Place Drive amenities bid. The cost of these trail improvements would come firom the Park Acquisition Fund. Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RES`OL UTION NO. 2003-4-7X -INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO OBTAIN C'IIANGE-ORDER PRICING AS PART OF THE 2003 IMPROVEMENT PRO.IECT 731D FOR COMPLETION OF THE FOLLOWING TRA77, .SEGMENTS: JACKSON STREET TRA77.
