MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING CITY COUNCIL LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA APRIL 23, 2003 MINUTES CUP- 450 LITTLE CANADA ROAD- MARYHOUSE/ ST. JOHN'S CHURCH Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 23rd day of April, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Mayor Michael I. Fahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the following members of the City Council were present at roll call: CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Council Member Council Member Council Member Council Member Mr. Michael I. Fahey Mr. Matt Anderson Mr. Bill Blesener Mr. Jim LaValle Mr. Rick Montour ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator City Attorney Accounting Supvr. Deputy Clerk Mr. Joel R. Hanson Mr. Tom Sweeney Ms. Shelly Rueckert Ms. Kathy Glanzer Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.2003-4-80 -APPROVING THE MINUTES OT THE APRIL 9, 2003 WORKSHOP COUNCIL MEETING AND THE APRIL 9, 2003 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS SUBMITTED The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Blesener, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Mayor Fahey opened the Public Hearing to consider a request for a Conditional Use Permit allowing the expansion of anon-conforming use (boarding house) at the Maryhouse site located at 450 Little Canada Road made by St. John's Chw•ch. It was noted that the Planning Commission has recommended approval of the Conditional Use Permit subject to the exterior of the addition matching the existing structure. Terry Coves, representing the Ma~yhouse Steering Committee, appeared before the Council to answer any questions they might have.
