MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 23, 2003 are now coming home, and the war in Iraq is essentially over. The Council felt it was an appropriate time to remove the flags. Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2003-4-88 -INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO REMOVE THE AMERICAN FLAGS ALONG LITTLE CANADA ROAD AND CENTERVILLE ROAD The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) Montour, Blesener, Anderson, LaValle, Fahey. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. ADDRESS The Council reviewed various options for the posting of the street ON CITY address on the City Center. CENTER Mr. Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION N0.2003-4-89 -INSTRUCTING THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR TO HAVE THE CITY CENTER ADDRESS "575 LITTLE CANADA ROAD" INSTALLED ON THE WOOD WALL ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF THE CITY CENTER The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. Ayes (3) Montour, Anderson, Blesener. Nays (2) Fahey, LaValle. Resolution declared adopted. PAY Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: REQUEST- RYAN DR. - RESOLUTION NO. 2003-4-90 -APPROVING TILE FINAL PAY FRATTALONE REQUEST FOR KYAN DRIVE AS REQUESTED BY FRATTALONE EXCAVATING EXCAVATING AND AS RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. CONTAMIN- The City Administrator recommended approval of the application for ATION contamination clean-up grants for the northeasC corner of Rice Street CLEAN-UP and Little Canada Road noting the City's obligation Co pursue grant GRANTS funding for clean-up costs as a part of the Guerin settlement agreement. 10
