MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 23, 2003 <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION N0.2003-4-97 -APPROVING APPLICATION FOR <br />CONTAMINATION CLEANUP GRANT' I' OR THE NORTHEAST <br />CORNER OF RICE STREET AND LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />(MOONEY SITE) <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-4-92 -COMMITTING LOCAL MATCH <br />AND AUTHORIZING CONTRACT SIGNATURES RELATIVE TO <br />CONTAMINATION CLEANUP GRANT I'KOGRAM FOR THE <br />CORNER OF RICE STREET AND LITTLE CANADA ROAD <br />(MOONEY SITE) <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />BUDGET Fahey recommended that the given the protocol agreement that Little <br />ISSUE - Canada has with its sister city of Thunder Bay, the City continue to <br />THUNDER reimburse for Gravel and meal costs for the official delegation that <br />BAY attends Thunder Bay's sister city celebration. <br />Anderson stated that while he agreed, he pointed out the budget cutting <br />exercise that the City recently went through to try to address the State's <br />impact on the City's budget. <br />Anderson suggested that once the Legislature acts on the budget and the <br />final impact on Little Canada is known, the Council should revisit the <br />budget as a whole rather than address the matter on an issue-by-issue <br />basis. Blesener agreed, and noted that this could be done in conjunction <br />with establishing the level of gas and electric franchise fees. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-4-93 -AUTHORIZING THE <br />REIMBURSEMENT OF MILEAGE AND MEALS FOR THE <br />11 <br />
