MINUTES OI' TH:E REGULAR MEEITNG <br />CITY CO~ONCII. <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 14th day of <br />May, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at SI S <br />Little Canada Road in said City- <br />MAY 14, 2003 <br />Mayor Michael L .Rahey called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COlJNCIL <br />Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Tim LaValle <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />City Administrator <br />City Attorney <br />Cable TV Producer <br />Deputy Clerl< <br />Mr. Joel R Hanson <br />Mr. Tom Sweeney <br />Mr. Jeremy ~Brodin <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />ANNOUNCE- Jean Donovan and Bob Anderson, Little Canada Historical Society, <br />MENTS appeared before the Council and presented the City with a check in the <br />amount of $20,000 toward the repayment of the loan for the Historical <br />Society building addition- The Council thanked the Historical Society for <br />their continuing etTorts in repaying this loan. <br />Donovan requested that the Council fable action on the renewal of the <br />Historical Society's gambling license as they are continuing negotiations <br />on the lease agreement. <br />Donovan invited the general public to the I-Iistorical Society's open house <br />and ice cream social that is scheduled for Saturday, May 31s', from 1 p.m. <br />to 4 p.m. Donovan reported that Don Gagne and other members of the <br />7-listorical Society are building a model recreating Little Canada Road as it <br />existed in the 1950's. This will be on display at the open house. <br />
