MINUTT';S <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNiJ 24, 2003 <br />INTGRFUND Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />LOAN FOR <br />ACQUISITION RESOI. UTION NO. 2003-G-139 -APPROVING THE TERMS OF AN <br />OF RUTZICK INT ERFUND LOAN IN CONNECTION WITH THE APPROPRIATE <br />PROPIā¢;RTY TIF DISTRICT AND THE RUTZICK PROPERTY ACQUISITION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Montour, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />RONDEAU Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />PARK <br />IMPROVE- RESOI. UTION NO. 2003-6-I40 - TA73LING ACTION ON THE <br />DIT!/NTS AWARDING OF I3ID FO12 RONDEAU PARK PLAYGROUND <br />EQ UIPMENT AS RECOMMENDED 13Y THE PARKS' & <br />RECREATION DIRECTOR <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Montour, Pahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI, UTION NO. 2003-6-.14.I -APPROVING THE CITANGE <br />ORDER FOR RONDEAU PARK PLAYGROUND CONCRETE WORK <br />AS RECOMMENDED I3Y THE PARKS & RECREATION <br />COMMLS'SION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Fahey, Anderson, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2 A.M:. Mayor Fahey noted that the State Legislature has passed legislation <br />:BAR which gives cities the authority to allow on-sale liduor establishments <br />CLOSING to stay open until 2 a.m. Fahey indicated that while a 2 a.m. bar closing <br />may be something the Cities of Minneapolis and St. Paul would be <br />interested in as relates to convention business, it is not something that he <br />supports for the City of Little Canada. Fahey felt there was no compelling <br />reason to extend bar hours to 2 a.m., and he further noted that not many <br />cities have done so. It was noted that the City's bar owners have been <br />15 <br />
