MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 9, 2003 <br />INCREMENT FINANCING PLAN THEREFOR UNTIL. THE JULY <br />23, 2003 COUNCIL. MEETING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, LaValle, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />OASIS Council reviewed the details of the Oasis Market liquor ordinance <br />LIQUOR violation as well as actions that the Council took for previous violations <br />VIOLATION at other liquor establishments in the City. It was the consensus of the <br />Council that a $100 fine should be imposed, with that fine to be suspended <br />if no additional violations occur withn~ the next 12-month period. <br />Anderson recommended that at some point the Council should quit staying <br />these fines. He indicated that the liquor businesses are on notice that <br />alcohol compliance checks are occurring and will continue to occur. <br />Fahey and LaValle noted that the violations that have occurred are one- <br />time violations. It was their position that when a second violation occurs <br />at a business, a fine will be imposed. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.40I. UTION NO. 2003-7-I4G - IMPOSING A $100 FINE ON OASIS <br />MARKET FOR THE LIQUOR ORDINANCE VIOLATION WHICFI <br />OCCURRED EARLIER THIS YEAR, AND STAYING THAT FINE <br />PROVIDED THAT THERE ARE NO ADDITIONAL VIOLATIONS AT <br />OASIS WITHIN THE NEXT TWELVE MONTH PERIOD <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (4) LaValle, Blesener, Fahey, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />PUBLIC Mayor Fahey opened the continued Public Hearing to consider a revised <br />HEARING - Planned Unit Development fa' the Drywall Supply Addition located at <br />REVISED 3203 Country Drive. <br />PUD - <br />DRYWALL Gaiy Germanson, representing Carl Johnson of Drywall Supply, presented <br />SUPPLY the Council with a revised drawing for the Drywall Supply site. He noted <br /> that the layouts for Lots 1 and 2 remain the same. <br />The City Administrator asked if parking for the Counci182 building is <br />being pulled closer to the building as was recommended by the Plamting <br />
