MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2003 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Anderson. <br />Ayes (4) Blesener, Anderson, Montour, LaValle. <br />Nays (1) Fahey. <br />TRANSIT The City Administrator indicated that Metro Transit is agreeable with <br />CENTER the revised language for the Joint Powers Agreement related to their <br />JOINT transit hub in 'Little Canada. However, they have requested one <br />POWERS modification which would allow them to approach the Council for <br />AGREEMENT approval of specific advertising proposals for the transit center. <br />Council indicated their acceptance of Metro Transit's proposed language, <br />but again commented on their position against advertising within the <br />transit center. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION N0. 2003-9-224 -APPROVING METRO TRANSIT'S <br />REQUESTED AMENDMENT TO THE TRANSIT CENTER .IOINT <br />POWERS AGREEMENT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Fahey, Montour, Anderson, Blesener. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />ADJOURN Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2003-9-225 - AD.IOURNING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fahey. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, LaValle, Blesener, Montour, Anderson. <br />Nays(0).
