MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />SEPTEMBER 24, 2003 <br />Mr. Blesener introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOI UTION NO. 2003-9-213 -DENYING THE REZONING OF <br />I OTS I THROUGH 4, FLOCK 7, NORTH HEIGHTS FROM <br />GENERA] BUSINESS (73-3) TO SINGLE FAMILY RESIDENTIAL. <br />(R-1) OR MEDIUM DEN.S`ITY RESIDENTIAL (R-2) AS <br />RECOMMENDED 73Y THE PLANNING COMMISSION AND EASED <br />ON THE DLSCUSSION THIS EVENING <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by LaValle. <br />Ayes (5) Blesener, LaValle, Fahey, Anderson, Montour. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />AMENDMENT Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the request for an <br />TO CUP - Amendment to a Conditional Use Permit to allow a change in the site <br />182 RYAN plan for 182 Ryan Lane increasing the driveway width. It was noted <br />LANE - that the City Engineer recommended against the site plan amendment <br />DAVID EVANS as did the Planning Commission. <br />There was no one from the general public present wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fahey, seconded by LaValle, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE,S"07 UTION NO. 2003-9-214 -DENYING THE AMENDMENT TO <br />CONDITIONAL. USE PERMIT FOR 182 RYAN LANE REQUESTED <br />EY DAVID EVANS BASED ON THE RECOMMENDATION OF THE <br />CITY ENGINEER AND THE PLANNING COMMISSION <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Anderson, Montour, LaValle. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />VARIANCES - Fahey opened the public hearing to consider the request for Variances <br />421 ELI ROAD - related to size and dimension for a recreational accessory building at <br />JIM COSSACK 421 Eli Road. It was noted that both the City Planner and the Planning <br />Commission have recommended denial of the variances based on the fact <br />that there is no hardship present warranting the granting of these <br />variances. <br />
