MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 8, 2003 <br />The Attorney further suggested that the Council place a moratorium on the <br />construction of building connections via tunnels, basements, covered <br />walkways or breezeways, until such time as the Code can be reviewed and <br />an amendment drafted. An amendment to the Zoning Code will require <br />review and adoption by the Planning Commission and the City Council. <br />Mr. Fahey introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.S07, UTION NO. 2(103-10-228 -INSTRUCTING CITY STAFF TO <br />REVIEW THE ZONING CODE ANI) PREPARE, IF NECESSARY, <br />ANAMENDMENT CLARIFYING THE CODE RELATIVE TO THE <br />COMI37NATION OF TWO STRUCTURES INTO ONE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) Fahey, Blesener, Montour, LaValle, Anderson. <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />Mr. LaValle introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RE.S`OL UTION NO. 2(103-10-229 - DECL ARING A 90 DA I' <br />MORATORIUM ON THEIS.SUANCF, OFANYEUILDINGPERMITS` <br />FOR THE CONNECTION OF TWO STRUCTURES VIA COVERED <br />WALKWAY, 13REEZE[VAY.S, UNDERGROUND TUNNELSAND <br />]3A.S`EMENTS <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Blesener. <br />Ayes (5) LaValle, Blesener, Montour, Anderson, Fahey. <br />Nays (o). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2576/2580 The City Administrator reported that the property at 2576 and 2580 <br />EDGERTON Edgerton Street was recently sold. Given that there are non-conforming <br />STREET issues with each of these properties and the new owner would like to <br />remodel and expand the house at 2580 Edgerton Street, the owner has <br />agreed to combine the two lots and remove the existing house at 2576 <br />Edgerton Street. The Administrator reported that the property owner <br />would like to be able to utilize the house at 2576 Edgerton Street until <br />approximately June 1, 2004 until the renovations are complete on the other <br />house. <br />The City Administrator presented the Council with a proposed <br />Development Contract which sets forth the specific requirements and <br />timelines for allowing the expansion of 2580 Edgerton Street and bringing <br />the non-conforming issues into compliance with the Code. <br />
