MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMIIER 3, 2003 <br />Pw'suant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 3rd day of <br />November, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Acting Mayor Jim LaValle called the meeting to order at 6:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call <br />CITY COUNCIL: <br />Acting Mayor <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Jim LaValle <br />Mr. Matt Anderson <br />Mr. Bill Blesener <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />ABSENT <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mayor <br />City Administrator <br />Deputy Clerk <br />Mr. Michael I. Fahey <br />Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer <br />CONDITIONAL Acting Mayor Jim LaValle opened the public hearing to consider the <br />USE PERMIT - request for Conditional Use Permit to allow an attached and a detached <br />735 KELLER garage as well as total garage space of approximately 1,200 square feet <br />PARKWAY - for 735 Keller Parkway as requested by Charles and Anne Pechmann. <br />PECHMANN It was noted that the Planning Commission recommended approval of the <br /> CUP subject to the existing garage being refaced to match the new garage. <br />The property owners at 715 and 743 Keller Parkway appeared before the <br />Council in support of the CU'P request. <br />Mr. Charles .Pechmann reported that the existing garage will be refaced to <br />match the new garage. <br />Montour noted that the pool building has been removed and asked if the <br />Pechmann's had plans to add another pool building in the future. <br />Pechmann replied that they did plan to add another pool building. <br />Montour expressed concern that CUP's are being approved for garage <br />space over 1,000 square feet, and then property owners have the ability to <br />still add a storage shed or a recreation building.
