MINUTES
CITY COUNCIL
DECEMBER 1, 2003
The Administrator continued his review of 2003 action plans, noting the
work that is being done in the area of code enforcement. Council asked
for monthly updates on code enforcement efforts.
Blesener suggested that should a decision be made to construct a new
Public Wot9<s garage, the property the City purchased for the garage is not
the right location. The Administrator pointed out that the decision on
whether or not to construct a new Public Works garage will be tied to
whether or not St. Paul takes over the City's water system.
The Administrator noted the potential for future development proposals
that tnay come before the Council in 2004. He also informed the Council
on issues related to staffing of the front office, consultant contracts, status
of T.iF guarantees, etc. The Administrator also informed the Council of a
$60,000 donation received from Millennium Charity Plus for construction
of a new storage garage in Spooner Park. The Administrator further
reported that he will be presenting the Council with some proposed
policies relative to issues that arose iu the State Auditors audit of
Brooldyn Park.
There being no further business, the workshop meeting was adjourned at
8:40 p.tn.
~~ __
Michae I.
