MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />DECEMBER 1, 2003 <br />lower valued residential properties will result, the potential return of <br />MVHC dollars, as well as the State's financial position. <br />The Administrator thanked the general public for their attention, and asked <br />if there were any questions regarding the proposed 2004 Budget. The <br />Administrator also indicated that the City Council will hold a public <br />hearing on Wednesday, December 17, 2003 at 7:30 p.m. at the City Center <br />to consider the adoption of the 2004 Budget. <br />Blesener noted that the City has reduced the proposed net levy by $30,000 <br />under the State's imposed levy limit for Little Canada. Blesener asked if <br />levying under levy limits will have a negative impact to Little Canada later <br />on. The Administrator replied that it is a possibility, although he would <br />like to think that the City is not being shortsighted by not levying to the <br />maximum at this time. <br />Upon motion by LaValle, seconded by Montour, the Truth In Taxation <br />hearing was adjourned at 7:40 p.m. <br />CJ's ~ CR <br />Micha 1 I.
