MINUTES <br />ANNOUNCE- <br />MENTS- <br />PRESENTATION <br />OF A DONATION <br />FROM <br />SLUMBERLAND <br />FURNITURE FOR <br />THE VETERAN'S <br />MEMORIAL <br />MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />NOVEMBER 23, 2015 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 23rd day of <br />November, 2015 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at <br />515 Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Council Member Mr. Mire McGraw <br />Council Member Mr. Rick Montour <br />Council Member Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />Finance Director <br />Ms. Sharon Provos <br />Parks & Rec Director <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />City Planner <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Cable TV Producer <br />Mr. Kevin Helander <br />City Cleric <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Torkelson introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2015-11-221— APPRO VING THE MINUTES OF <br />THE NOVEMBER 9, 2015 REGULAR COUNCIL MEETING AS <br />SUBMITTED <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />Mayor Keis introduced Lisa Olson from Slumberland Furniture who was <br />there to present a check for $10,000 to the Little Canada Veteran's <br />Memorial. Olson stated that Slumberland has donated to both phase 1 and <br />phase 2 of the Veteran's Memorial. She noted that Slumberland has been <br />in the city for 22 years, and they enjoy being part of the community and <br />Veteran's Memorial, as well as being involved in Canadian Days. <br />
