MINUTES OF THE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 9, 2003 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 9th day of <br />7anuary, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Ms. Kathy Weihe <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ALSO PRESENT: Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Mr. Jeremy Brodin, Cable TV Producer <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />ELECTION The result of the Election of Officers is that John Keis was elected as <br />OF Chair of the Commission and Dan Knudsen was elected as Vice Chair <br />OFFICERS for 2003. <br />AMEND Pete Linder, Linder's Greenhouses, appeaz-ed before the Commission <br />CUP FOR requesting approval of an amendment to their Conditional Use Permit <br />RELOCATION to allow the relocation of their flower/garden mart within the parking <br />OF LIN,DER'S lot of the Market Place Shopping Center. Linder noted that Linder's <br />FLOWER/ has operated at the Market Place since 1993. The relocation is necessary <br />GARDEN given the construction of the new Snyder's building. Linder noted that <br />MART the site plan shows two potential locations, marked "A" and "B". Linder <br />indicated that he would prefer location "A" given that access to water and <br />electrical is more convenient. <br />Linder reported that he is aware of the redevelopment plans for the area <br />and that additional changes may occw- with the parking lot at the Market <br />Place Shopping Center. Linder requested that any additional relocations <br />of the flower/garden mart be able to be approved by City staff. Linder <br />
