My name is Nick Stelton and I am the President of the company. I am 33 years old and live in Columbus Township, Minnesota with my wife, Shelley and our two beautiful children -Jacob (3 %z) and Jessica (2 Months). I have been employed consistently since I started my first job, washing dishes in a restaurant, when I was 14 years old. I try to do the best job that I can, no rnatter what the job is. I am a hard working, highly driven individual, dedicated to my family and my work. I have included this personal information so that you may better understand my business and how it is run. Maverick Blectric in many ways is like my first child, and the mariner in which it operates is truly a reflection of my personality. I started Maverick Electric in 1996 after earning my Class A Masters Electrician license. I quit my job, bought a 1982 Chevrolet van and hired an old friend from high school to work as my apprentice. In 1998 we hired another apprentice and a Journeyman Electrician to run a second crew. Irorrically, the Journeyman we hired was the first Journeyman electrician that I had worked wider as an apprentice. The addition of the second crew required us to store material in larger quantity, forcing the company to find a larger space. The decision was made to relocate Maverick Electric to the city of Little Canada. The freeway interchange gives us great access to the surrounding conuiumities in which we work, and the Ryan Industrial Park provided an affordable l~r step out of the gu~age and into the eonnnunity. Maverick Electric has gror*m steadily each year, and is presently amedium-sized electrical contracting shop with a total of 17 employees. We have a strong reputation among inspectors and contractors for being neat, accurate and courteous. We perform all types of electrical installation, alteration, and repair for both high and low-voltage systems. Cun~ently, a large percentage of our work is custom wiring systems for new residential construction. The accounts we service include nationally recognized companies such as I{ey Land Homes and also highly acclaimed local contractors such as Meadow View Homes and Lifestyle Homes. The President of Lifestyle Homes, Dean rlacl<ey served as President of The Builders Association of The Twin Cities, and currently serves on the board of directors for The National Association of Home Builders. These contractors accept nothing less than absolute perfection, and Maverick )/lecri-ic delivers for them consistently. We succeed in a very competitive marketplace by making customer satisfaction our number one priority and by paying close attention to detail.
