MINUTES PLANNING COMMISSION AUGUST 14, 2003 O'Brien felt the Rice Street location was large enough to support this activity. O'Brien stated that he would look for another RV storage location other than the Rustad property, and asked if he could be granted 60 to 90 days to find a place to store the RV's. Ba~~raclough indicated that the Council would have to act on the 60 to 90 day extension, but he was willing to pass on a recommendation to the Council on that issue. Barraclough pointed out that it would be possible for O'Brien to do the paperwork associated with the rental of RV's from the Rice Street location, but that he could not support RV's being brought to and from the Rice Street location. Any deliveries of the RV's to or from customers would have to be done from a site that allows outdoor storage as an accessory use, for example, a location within Ryan Industrial Park. Barraclough recommended denial of the Amendment to Conditional Use Permit to expand a car rental business to include the rental of recreational vehicles as recommended by the City Planner, and suggested to the City Council that they allow Mr. O'Brien 60 to 90 days to find a legal storage site for the RV's noting that all rental activities involving pick-up, return, and clean-up of RV's must occur from a legal storage site and not the Rice Street site. Motion seconded by Wojcik. Motion carried 4 - 0. PUD FOR Barraclough indicated that he was in agreement with the Commission's SALES action relative to approval of a PUD amendment allowing a temporary TRAILER- sales trailer for The Villas. THE VILLAS MINUTES There being no changes to the July 10, 2003 Planning Commission minutes, those minutes were approved as submitted. SUBDIVISION The City Planner informed the Commission that within the next couple of ORDINANCE months he would be proposing amendments to the City's Subdivision Ordinance for their consideration. -4-
