The homeowner
has been made aware on several attempts about the violation of City Ordinance 301.030.
Listed below is a summary of activities regarding the property and events occurring since June
2002.
6/12/02 Received phone call from a neighboring property indicating resident at 421 Eli
Road was building in rear yard without a permit.
6/13/02 Site inspection revealed concrete slab on grade with walls framed around
perimeter. Approximate size is 12' x 20'. Owner was home and we discussed
zoning and permit requirements. He indicated he would attach building to his
primary dwelling and create one (1) single family unit. He would have plans
prepared and dropped off at city offices.
6/14/02 City Administrator received voice mail message From Jim Cossack. Attachment
#1
10/3/02 Sent Letter. Site inspection indicates that work has started again. Attachment #2
10/4/02 Site inspection reveals work has stopped and appears abandoned.
3/4/03 Work on accessory building has started again. Roof trusses that were in front
yard have now been installed on walls and have been partially covered with
plywood.
3/7/03 Sent Letter.
