MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />OCTOBER 30, 2003 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 30th day of <br />October, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />ABSENT: <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr-John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Ms. Kathy Weihe <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />CONDITIONAL Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pechmann, 735 Keller Parkway, appeared before <br />USE PERMIT - the Commission requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit <br />735 KELLER allowing them to have both an attached and a detached garage as well as <br />PARKWAY - total garage space of approximately 1,200 square feet. Mr. Pechmann <br />PECHMANN reported that their current home at 735 Keller Parkway will be torn down <br />and they will be constructing a new home on the property. The new home <br />is being moved forward on the lot so that it will comply with all setback <br />requirements. The new home will have atuck-under garage of <br />approximately 6'15 square feet. There is a detached garage on the property <br />of approximately 585 square feet that they would like to retain. Pechmann <br />indicated that there had been a small pool building on the property, but <br />that building has been removed. <br />Keis reviewed the City Planner's report dated October 30, 2003 and noted <br />that the only issue of concern was the pool building. That issue has now <br />been resolved with The removal of the pool building. <br />Roycraft asked about the pool. Pechmann indicated that they will try to <br />save the pool. Roycraft asked if there were any future plans for another <br />
