MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING PLANNING COMMISSION LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA OCTOBER 30, 2003 Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the Planning Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 30th day of October, 2003 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City. Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 5:00 p.m. and the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll call: PLANNING COMMISSION: ABSENT: ALSO PRESENT: Mr-John Keis Mr. Scott Barraclough Mr. Tom Duray Mr. Tom Roycraft Ms. Kathy Weihe Mr. Tom Wojcik Mr. Dan Knudsen Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk CONDITIONAL Mr. and Mrs. Charles Pechmann, 735 Keller Parkway, appeared before USE PERMIT - the Commission requesting approval of a Conditional Use Permit 735 KELLER allowing them to have both an attached and a detached garage as well as PARKWAY - total garage space of approximately 1,200 square feet. Mr. Pechmann PECHMANN reported that their current home at 735 Keller Parkway will be torn down and they will be constructing a new home on the property. The new home is being moved forward on the lot so that it will comply with all setback requirements. The new home will have atuck-under garage of approximately 6'15 square feet. There is a detached garage on the property of approximately 585 square feet that they would like to retain. Pechmann indicated that there had been a small pool building on the property, but that building has been removed. Keis reviewed the City Planner's report dated October 30, 2003 and noted that the only issue of concern was the pool building. That issue has now been resolved with The removal of the pool building. Roycraft asked about the pool. Pechmann indicated that they will try to save the pool. Roycraft asked if there were any future plans for another
