The Director stated that the "Splatter
Sisters" have called wondering the same thing.
Horwath commented that she favors the idea ofhaving aone-night event with an ice cream
social and the Roseville Area High School Jazz Band or Splatter Sisters perforning. Gray
suggested holding the event in conjunction with National Night Out. Other members felt that
National Night Out is too close to Canadian Days. It was the consensus of the Commission
to discontinue the "Concerts in the Park" series in view of the small turnout of Little Canada
residents that have been in attendance over the past several years.
Schabacker recommended holding one concert in 2002 with the Roseville Area High
School Jazz Band performing mad holding an ice cream social in coaijunetian with the
event.
Motion seconded by Horwath.
Motion carried 7- 0.
