MINUTES OF TAE REGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 10, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the IO°i day of <br />January, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Chair John Keis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Planning Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION: <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Dennis Carson <br />Mr. Tom Dm'ay <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Thomas Roycraft <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, Deputy Clerk <br />ELECTION Upon motion by Carson, seconded by Duray, John Keis was elected <br />OF OFFICERS as Chair of the Planning Commission for 2002. <br />lJpon motion by Roycraft, seconded by Carson, Dan Knudsen was elected <br />as Vice Chair of the Planning Commission for 2002. <br />MINUTES The minutes of the December 13, 2001 Planning Commission meeting <br />were approved as submitted. <br />CONCEPT Gordie Howe, Masterpiece Homes, appeared before the Commission and <br />REVIEW - presented a concept plan for the development of 30 townhome units (15 <br />TOWNHOMES building sh'uctwes) on the Palmer property which is located in the area of <br />ON PALMEN McMenemy Road and Viking Drive. Rowe reported that the project <br />PROPERTY - would include a 1,500 foot cul-de-sac which would be constructed to City <br />MASTERPIECE standards and would be a public street. Water main would be looped from <br />HOMES McMenemy Road to Viking Drive. The townhome units would be setback <br /> approximately 20 feet from the property line and 29 to 30 feet from the <br /> curb. Howe reported that his engineer, Passe Engineering would be <br />
