The Planner noted that <br />ROAD - the City has previously approved a property division for this <br />RICHl~/SCHORN property and Mr. Richie is seeking to create an additional lot It also noted <br />that the City has discussed future thoroughfare plans for the area, and <br />concluded that should the property to the east develop, road access to <br />LaBore Road would not be needed through the Richie property. <br />1"here was no one present to comment ou this matter. Mr. Wojcik <br />suggested that the property division be denied, pointing out the applicants <br />lack of interest in appearing before the Commission. <br />Duray noted that the property division meetings City Code requirements. <br />Duray recommended approval of the property division for the Richie <br />property at 2966 LaBore Road as requested by Bill Richie and Bill Schorr <br />subject to compliance with the recommendations ofthe City Planner. <br />Motion seconded by Knudsen. <br />Motion carried 4 - 1. V/ojcik voted against. <br />ARCHITGC- Dave Perry, Cobra Construction, appeared before the Commission and <br />TURAL presented drawings for the Ruff Cuts development proposal for the <br />RtV1EW - corner of Little Canada Road and Jackson Street. I'eny described the <br />RU 1' 1' CUTS business operation as well as the layout of the building. He noted that <br />there would be no overnight boarding of animals on the property. <br />A neighboring property owner asked if the day care function of the <br />business was permitted. The City Planner replied that the day care <br />function would be a permitted accessory use to the grooming operation. <br />The Planner also noted that the City's Code has no limit on the number of <br />animals that could be on the premises at any one time. The Planner noted <br />that there is no overnight boarding being proposed. <br />Carson asked if the animals would be kept inside at all times. Perry <br />replied that there is an exercise area proposed. This area would be fenced <br />and screened with fence slats. Perry noted Chat the front of the building <br />would face toward Jackson Street angled slightly toward Little Canada <br />Road, There is brick proposed on the south and east sides of the building <br />with vinyl siding proposed on the north and west sides. 'The roof will have <br />asphalt shingles. It is proposed that the exterior of the building be blended <br />in appearance with the townhomes to the east. <br />
