The following is a synopsis of my conversations: <br />- On the estimated date of December 1, 2000 I contacted the general number (651-484- <br />2177) for the city of Little Canada & requested the department that would address the <br />issue of construction of a 2nd detached garage on properties within the city. <br />- Given the name of Steve Westerhaus - Ciuilding inspector for the city, Told the best <br />place to reach him +.vas at his home office between the hours of 8-9 a.m, at phone <br />number (651) 486-2815. <br />Called Steve vJestcrhaus •- Qcilding inspeC,or & discusseu our question. He indicted <br />that the individu«i that I would need to speak with would be Steve Grittrnan -City <br />P!•anner ~ 612-595-9636. <br />- spoke with Steve Gr;ttm~n - C.;ty Planner. I indicated that ~Pde had a c~ient that was <br />inte~~°sted in a property that was for sale within the city. I gave him the address, the <br />legal & lot size (I don't remember if he had a plat map ii; frc+nt of him or not). I <br />erpiained that our c!~ents had a question as to whether or not a 2nd detached garage <br />co;alc; be cons*: ucted ai the prop.:a"ty. Steve evas familiar vdith file area 8: indicated that <br />he kne~;r that other property in the area had additional stru:.tures on tneir ices. Ne <br />indicated ~_hat as lung as the 2"d detachedgarage fit within the city setback <br />requirements (~n~hich he gave r;.e as soliows: Corner = 30' per corner side, Sides == 10', <br />Rear = 30' & Front = 30'), it would mom li!<ely be showed.
