M1NU'CES OI' THE RISGULAR MEETING <br />PLANNING COMM. ISSION <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />APRIL 11, 2002 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a regular meeting of the Planning <br />Commission of Little Canada, Minnesota was held on the 11`x' day of <br />April, 2002 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Ca~~ada Road in said City. <br />Chair Johu I{eis called the meeting to order at 7:30 p.m. and <br />the following members of the Plamiing Commission were present at roll <br />call: <br />PLANNING COMMISSION <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Scott Barraclough <br />Mr. Tom Duray <br />Mr. Christopher Gatzke <br />Mr. Dan Knudsen <br />Mr. Tom Roycraft <br />Mr. Tom Wojcik <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Mr. Steve Grittman, City Planner <br />Ms. Kathy Glanzer, 'Deputy Clerk <br />MINUTES The minutes of the March 14, 2002 Planning Commission meeting <br />were approved as submitted. <br />PUD PERMIT Mr. Mike Trossen, Trossen Architects representing Peter and Daniel <br />& Tacheny, appeared before the Commission requesting a Planned Unit <br />ARCIII- Development Permit and Architectural Review for the development <br />TECTURA.L of nine town once units at 2990 ,Rice Street Trossen noted that the plan <br />REVIEW has been modified since the concept plan was submitted to the <br />Commission last month. It now consists of three buildings with three <br />town o1~Tice units in each building. There are 68 parking stalls provided on <br />this site that meets City Code requirements. Trossen indicated that he was <br />confused about the trash enclosure requirement, and asked the <br />Commission's feeling for elimination of one or two parking stalls to <br />provide a trash enclosure. <br />The City Planner indicated that the trash enclosure is not supposed to take <br />up required parking area, and 68 parking spaces are the minimum required <br />by code.
