Ranson <br />As you are aware, your property is currently zoned General Business (B-3). Therefore, your home is a uai-conforming <br />use under the City's Zoning Ordinance. The result of this naJ-conforming status is that City Code makes any <br />alternations or additions to your homes, other than the minimum necessary for maintenance, more difficult to achieve. <br />Given it is highly likely that the residential use will continue along this stretch of Little Canada Road, City staff is <br />proposing that the Planning Commission discuss the concept of rezoninb your properties to Residential Business (R-B) <br />(see copy of R-B regulations attached). The R-B Zoning would brim your properties into conformance from a use <br />standpoint (this would not include any setbacks requirements that may or may not be met), and also allows for some <br />business uses of the property subject to receipt of a Conditional Use Permit. <br />Therefore, please be advised that the Little Canada Planning Commission will discuss this concept at their meeting <br />scheduled for Thursday, June 13, at 7:30 p.m. at the City Center.
