MINUTES OF THE WORKSHOP MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JANUARY 27, 2016 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a workshop meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 27th day of <br />January, 2016 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 6:30 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Council Member <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />ALSO PRESENT: City Administrator Mr. Joel R. Hanson <br />City Clerk <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />Parks & Rec Dir. <br />Mr. Jim Morelan <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Mr. Dave Miller <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Ms. Sharen Darling <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Mr. Ron Horwath <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Mr. Thomas Maida <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Ms. Patti Sullivan <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Mr. Tom Ray <br />Parks & Rec Comm. <br />Mr. Peter Schletty <br />LCRA President <br />Mr. Jon Joriman <br />PARKS & The purpose of this evening's meeting is to review the Parks and <br />RECREATION Recreation Strategic Plan that the subcommittee has been working on for <br />STRATEGIC the last few months. The City Council reviewed and discussed this plan <br />PLAN on January 11, 2016, and agreed that they wanted to discuss the plan <br />DISCUSSION further and include the entire Parks & Recreation Commission and <br />subcommittee. <br />Fischer, who facilitated the planning process, reviewed the reason for <br />including the entire Parks & Recreation Commission and subcommittee, <br />and offered to attend a Parks & Recreation Commission meeting to further <br />review and explain the plan. He noted who the subcommittee members <br />were that worked on this Strategic Plan; Parks & Recreation Director Jim <br />Morelan, and Katie McGinnity and Don Bowman from the Parks and <br />
