CITY OF LITTLE CANADA RESOLUTION NO. 2016-1-22 VACATING SIXTH STREET, MIDDLE STREET AND ALLEYS WHEREAS, A majority of the owners of property abutting certain street and alley right-of-ways have requested the City Council in a petition dated December 15, 2015 to vacate such right -of-ways according to law; WHEREAS, A public hearing to consider the vacation of these street and alley right-of-ways was held on January 27, 2016 before the City Council at the City Center located at 515 Little Canada Road in said City at 7:30 p.m. after due published and posted notice had been given by the City Clerk, as well as a reasonable attempt to give personal mailed notice to all affected property owners on January 8, 2016, and all interested and affected persons were given an opportunity to be heard; and WHEREAS, Any person, corporation, or city owning or controlling easements contained upon the property vacated, reserves the right to continue maintaining the same or to enter upon such way or portion thereof vacated to maintain, repair, replace, remove, or otherwise attend thereto; and WHEREAS, It appears that it will be in the best interest of the City to approve such petition; NOW, THEREFORE, BE IT RESOLVED BY THE CITY COUNCIL OF LITTLE CANADA, COUNTY OF RAMSEY, MINNESOTA, that such petition is hereby granted and the following Sixth Street, Middle Street, and two alley right -of-ways are hereby vacated: LEGAL DESCRIPTION All that part of Sixth Street which lies east of a line, parallel with and distant 50.00 feet east of the west line of Section 31, Township 30 North, Range 22 West, and which lies westerly of the southeasterly extension of the southwesterly right of way line of the street and utility easement described in Ramsey County Document Number 2268455, and all that part of Middle Street lying north of the centerline of vacated Fifth Street and lying south of the westerly extension of the southerly
