Furthermore, the Contractor will be responsible for remitting all the taxes billed to the City with said <br />collection agent. <br />Sr. Bag Service: <br />The cost for this low volume service rate shall be $2.75 per bag. The service will be offered only to residents over <br />the age of 65. The service will consist of a prepaid sticker purchased directly from the City and applied to the bag <br />that is placed on the curbside for pick-up on collection day. If a sticker is not present during collection, no pick-up <br />will be made. <br />Single Sort Recycling Fee: <br />Single sort recycling shall be picked up every-other week on the same day as refuse collection. The fee for the <br />recycling service shall be billed as a separate item. The fee will be $5.00 per month per residence for a 60-gallon <br />cart supplied by the contractor. 90 days after the delivery of the cart, the resident has the option to trade the <br />60-gallon cart for a larger 90-gallon cart or decrease the size to a 30-gallon cart. <br />Optional Yard Waste Collection Service (Not to be adjusted for the term of the contract): <br />one declaration per year. Should a residence add or discontinue service within the service season, the cost shall be <br />prorated on a monthly basis with any partial month counting as a full month of service. Service will be maintained <br />for all units that sign up for yearly service unless the City is notified prior to April 1st of the new service year. <br />Optional Townhome Rate: <br />an amendment to this contract. If the City is to implement said rate, they shall provide ninety (90) days written <br />notice of their intent to initiate such rate. The Contractor shall then coordinate with the City for a timely transition <br />to the new rate at the conclusion of the ninety (90) day period. <br />*The cost for the refuse disposal fee is directly tied to the tipping fees at the NRG facility and therefore must be <br />adjusted up or down on a pro-rata basis as the tipping fees change and by no later than thirty (30) days for any <br />increase or reduction in tipping fees. Tipping fees are only known though 2012. Should tipping fees be different <br />than what is depicted in this Attachment, then the appropriate adjustments shall be made.
