<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br /> <br />DATE: March 4, 2016 <br /> <br />RE: Personnel Policy Updates <br /> <br /> <br />City Staff has made revisions to selected sections of the Personnel Policy. The revisions <br />primarily deal with PTO and Short Term Disability to remove inconsistencies from past <br />language versus what staff believes was the intended application. A new policy for PTO <br />Donations has also been drafted and added into the personnel policy. Other modifications <br />include changing titles for the Public Works Director (from Superintendent) where applicable, <br />and adding the City Clerk to the listing of exempt employees. The language in blue indicates <br />new wording, and the red stricken indicates wording to be removed. After the last Workshop, <br />the Council directed City Staff to bring the final personnel policy draft forward for action. <br /> <br />City Staff recommends the Council approve the updates to the Little Canada Personnel Policy. <br /> <br /> <br />
