MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 27, 2016 <br />and she was a great applicant. He stated that there were two applicants for <br />the Planning Commission, and both were also very good candidates. He <br />explained that the interview committee has recommended appointing Rose <br />Chu to the Parks & Recreation Commission and Nick Sandell to the <br />Planning Commission. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-4-71— APPOINTING ROSE CHU TO THE <br />PARKS & RECREATION COMMISSION AND NICK SANDELL TO <br />THE PLANNING COMMISSION. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Torkelson. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />CONSENT Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2016-4-72 —APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON MAY 25, 2016 AT 6: OOPM FOR <br />ANNUAL DISCUSSION WITH THE LITTLE CANADA FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT <br />*METROPOLITAN COUNCIL SANITARY SEWER TURNBACK <br />EASEMENT ISSUES <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (4). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />NEW SECOND The City Clerk stated that Richard and Wendy Johnson have applied for a <br />HAND GOODS second hand goods license in order to open a bridal consignment shop in <br />BUSINESS the Thunder Bay Mall. She stated that the background check was <br />LICENSE satisfactory and the applicant still needs to submit some forms. She stated <br />that staff recommends approval of the second hand goods license for <br />Richard Johnson, owner of Repeat After Me Bridal Consignment, <br />conditional on the City Clerk receiving the additional documents. <br />
