MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />MAY 11, 2016 <br />CONSENT Fischer introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />AGENDA <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-5-82 — APPROVING THE CONSENT <br />AGENDA WHICH CONTAINS THE FOLLOWING: <br />*APPROVAL OF THE VOUCHERS <br />*CALL FOR A WORKSHOP ON JUNE 8, 2016 AT 6: 00PM TO <br />DISCUSS THE FEASIBILITY OFA HOUSING REHABILITATION <br />LOANPROGRAM <br />*PARTIAL PAYMENT TO HARDRIVES FOR 2015 STREET <br />IMPROVEMENT PROJECT <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />2016 STREET The Public Works Director stated that more streets were in better of shape <br />CRACK this spring, so some trails and sidewalks were added in to the annual crack <br />FILLING filling project. He stated that $20,000 is budgeted in 2016 for street crack <br />CONTRACT filling. He explained that based on the two quotes received, Northwest <br />Asphalt had the lowed bid at $1.03/pound. The Public Works Director <br />noted that Northwest Asphalt has done a good job in the City in the past, <br />and he recommends the City Council approve the bid for them. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION NO. 2016-5-83 — A WARDING THE 2016 CRACK <br />FILLING CONTRACT TO NORTHWEST ASPHALT FOR THE <br />PRICE OF $1.03 PER POUND, AS PRESENTED BY THE PUBLIC <br />WORKS DIRECTOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution adopted. <br />ASSESSMENT The City Clerk stated that Ramsey County has requested the City <br />REAPPORTION reapportion an assessment balance to a newly created property <br />MENT — identification number (PIN) due to a subdivision. She explained that the <br />DIVISION NO. subdivision of 699 Labore Road involved five parcels, and when changes <br />DA072182 are made to property, the county assigns new PIN numbers to each parcel <br />affected. She stated that one of the parcels involved, 2949 Ontario Road, <br />has a balance from a street improvement assessment that needs to be <br />reassigned to the new property identification number. <br />2 <br />
