Resolution adopted.
2884 The City Administrator stated that the owner of 2884 Centerville Road has
CENTERVILLE asked the City for help in resolving an issue with where a power pole is
ROAD POWER located on his commercial property. He explained that the pole is very
POLE close to the driveway and causes problems with trucks turning into the
LOCATION driveway. He stated that moving the pole further south isn't an option
ISSUE because the lines would hit the house, and the owner is not willing pay to
bury the lines underground. He stated that he does not want to move the
lines to the pole behind the City's salt storage shed in the park because
there would likely be tree trimming someday by Xcel and the City does
not want to lose any of the screening from the evergreen trees. He stated
that another option is to allow the driveway to encroach onto the park
property to the north. He noted that there may not be a need to put
pavement down here, and instead just let the trucks swing wide when
turning into the driveway, but worst case would be to have some pavement
encroach onto the park property and put a use agreement in place.
S
