MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JUNE 20, 2016 <br />PUBLIC <br />Keis opened the public hearing to hear the request for a subdivision of <br />HEARING — <br />2947 and 2959 Centerville Road. <br />SUBDIVISION OF <br />2947 & 2959 <br />The Associate Planner reported that James Olson has submitted a request <br />CENTERVILLE <br />for a subdivision to split 60 feet off of his property at 2947 Centerville <br />ROAD <br />Road and add 20 feet from 2959 Centerville Road to create a new 80 foot <br />wide single family parcel where he plans to build a new house for himself. <br />She stated that all three of the parcels meet the zoning code minimum lot <br />width and square footage requirements, and the survey shows the new <br />perimeter drainage and utility easements. She noted that a water <br />connection for the new parcel was recently installed and there is an <br />existing sewer connection. The Associate Planner explained that the <br />grading and drainage for Parcel B will be reviewed with the building <br />permit for a new home. <br />The Associate Planner stated that the subject property is zoned R-1, Single <br />Family Residential and the proposed use is consistent with the zoning <br />code. She noted that Parcel B will be subject to the City Park and Trail <br />Dedication fee of $3,500. <br />There was no one else present from the general public wishing to <br />comment on this matter. <br />Upon motion by McGraw, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 2016-6-106 -APPROVING THE SUBDIVISION OF <br />2947AND 2959 CENTER VILLE ROAD FROM TWO PARCELS INTO <br />THREE PARCELS WITH ALL OF THE CONDITIONS OUTLINED <br />IN THE REPORT DATED JUNE 1, 2016, AS PRESENTED BY THE <br />PLANNING ASSOCIATE. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Aye (5). <br />Nays (0).
