MINUTES OF THE SPECIAL MEETING <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />LITTLE CANADA, MINNESOTA <br />JUNE 20, 2016 <br />Pursuant to due call and notice thereof a special meeting of the City <br />Council of Little Canada, Minnesota was convened on the 20th day of <br />June, 2016 in the Council Chambers of the City Center located at 515 <br />Little Canada Road in said City. <br />Mayor John Keis called the meeting to order at 8:00 p.m. and the <br />following members of the City Council were present at roll call: <br />CITY COUNCIL: Mayor <br />Council Member <br />ALSO PRESENT: <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />Council Member <br />City Administrator <br />City Planner <br />Associate Planner <br />Wellington Mgmt. <br />Cushman Wakefield <br />Cushman Wakefield <br />Tri-State Bobcat <br />Tri-State Bobcat <br />City Clerk <br />Mr. John Keis <br />Mr. Tom Fischer <br />Mr. Rick Montour <br />Mr. Christian Torkelson <br />Mr. Mike McGraw <br />Mr. Joel Hanson <br />Mr. Steve Grittman <br />Ms. Jessica Jagoe <br />Mr. Todd Kaufman <br />Mr. Todd Hanson <br />Mr. Chris Weirens <br />Mr. Bill Quirk <br />Mr. John Quirk <br />Ms. Heidi Heller <br />TRI-STATE <br />The purpose of this evening's meeting is for the City Council to hear a <br />BOBCAT <br />proposal by Wellington Management for the redevelopment of the former <br />PROPOSAL FOR <br />Bally's site, 71 Minnesota Avenue. <br />REDEVELOPMENT <br />OF THE FORMER <br />The City Administrator stated that the redevelopment of the former <br />BALLY'S SITE AT <br />Bally's site has been talked about for a long time. He explained that a few <br />71 MINNESOTA <br />months ago, the developer, Wellington Management, proposed three <br />AVENUE <br />different tenants for the site to the adjacent neighborhood, and the <br />residents lilted the Tri-State Bobcat proposal the best. He noted that in <br />order to make Tri-State work on this site, there are zoning issues that will <br />need to be worked out. He explained that the purpose of this special <br />meeting, is for Tri-State to review their proposal with the City Council, <br />and for the Council to decide if this is a use that they want on this site. <br />
