MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />JULY 13, 2016 <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />INSTALL FIBER The City Administrator stated that the Public Works Director has obtained <br />OPTIC CABLE pricing to install fiber optic cable at Spooner Park so that security cameras <br />AT SPOONER could be installed, and it would also allow for Wi-Fi at the park, and the <br />PARK option of installing security cameras at the upper shelter and Spooner <br />garage could be possible. He stated that Roseville IT received a quote of <br />$3,750 to run the fiber from the street to the building and an additional <br />$1,870 for the equipment in the building for a total capital outlay of <br />$5,620. He explained there would also be annual maintenance fees of <br />$500 payable to Roseville for maintaining connectivity and Wi-Fi service. <br />He stated that the costs would be paid from the Cable TV fund. He noted <br />that Staff will see if this work can be completed before Canadian Days. <br />The City Administrator stated that Staff recommends approving the <br />installation of fiber optic cable and necessary equipment at the Spooner <br />Park upper shelter for a total cost of $5,620 plus the ongoing annual $500 <br />maintenance fee. <br />SALE OF <br />PUBLIC WORKS <br />GARAGE - <br />EXTEND <br />BUILDING <br />ENHANCEMENT <br />INCENTIVE <br />COMPLETION <br />DATE <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-7-119 APPROVING THE INSTALLATION <br />OF FIBER OPTIC CABLE AT SPOONER PARKA T A TOTAL COST <br />OF $5,620 AND A $500 ANNUAL. MAINTENANCE FEE, AS <br />PRESENTED BY THE CITY ADMINSTRA TOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />The City Administrator stated that the closing for the sale of the old public <br />works building finally occurred on June 30tl,. He stated that given the <br />lengthy delays in closing the transaction, the buyer, Mr. Schwalbach, has <br />asked that the City extend the deadline for application of the exterior <br />building enhancements incentive that was provided as part of the sale <br />package. He stated that Staff recommends extending the time to do <br />improvements until August 31, 2017. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2016-7-120—APPROVAL OFA TIME <br />EXTENSION UNTIL A UGUST 31, 2017 FOR THE EXTERIOR <br />BUIDLING ENHANCEMENTS INCENTIVE FOR 3100 COUNTRY <br />
