<br />CITY OF LITTLE CANADA <br />RAMSEY COUNTY <br />STATE OF MINNESOTA <br />ORDINANCE NO. 803 <br /> <br />AN ORDINANCE AMENDING CHAPTER 800 TO ADD EMERGENCY VEHICLE <br />SALE/STORAGE LOT WITH ANCILLARY OUTFITTING SERVICES, AND CHAPTER <br />900, SECTION 918 OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL CODE TO ADD <br />EMERGENCY VEHICLE SALE/STORAGE LOT WITH ANCILLARY OUTFITTING <br />SERVICES AS A CONDITIONAL USE IN THE I-P, INDUSTRIAL PARK ZONING <br />DISTRICT <br /> <br /> <br />SECTION 1. The City Council of the City of Little Canada hereby amends Chapter 800 of the <br />Little Canada Municipal Code by adding the underlined material and deleting the stricken <br />material as follows: <br /> <br />824. EMERGENCY VEHICLE SALES/STORAGE LOT WITH <br />ANCILLARY OUTFITTING SERVICES <br /> <br /> <br />824.010. LICENSE. No person shall engage in the business of selling, buying, trading or <br />dealing in new or used emergency vehicles with ancillary outfitting services within the City <br />without first procuring a license to engage in such business as hereinafter provided. This license <br />requirement shall apply from and after the date of the passage of this Ordinance and every person <br />engaged in such business at this time must obtain a license hereunder in order to continue the <br />operation of such business. <br /> <br />824.020. APPLICATION, FEE AND LICENSE PERIOD. Application for Emergency Vehicle <br />Sales/Storage Lot with Ancillary Outfitting Services shall be made to the City on a form to be <br />furnished by the City. The fee for such license shall be determined by City Council resolution <br />with the license period commencing July 1 of each year. The license shall be for a term of one <br />year, except that the City Council shall have the authority to issue a license for a period shorter <br />than one year to guarantee compliance with all conditions of the license and with all conditions <br />of the zoning regulations. The license fee for any part of a year shall be the same as for a full <br />year. All applications to engage in emergency vehicle sales/storage business must be submitted <br />by the Administrator to the City Council at its next regular meeting before such license may be <br />issued. <br /> <br />This Section shall not apply to any type of work performed on a motor vehicle or motor vehicle <br />sales. Categories of motor vehicle repair or motor vehicles sales licenses include Automobile <br />Repair – Major, Automobile Repair – Minor, Automobile Repair – Salvage, Outdoor Retail <br />Sales, Indoor Retail Sales, Salvage Motor Vehicle Sales or Wholesale Dealer as defined in the <br />Zoning Code.
