<br />Little Canada Zoning Ordinance General Provisions <br />903-7 <br /> <br />b. Conditional Use Permit. Beyond the limitations of Section 903.020.D.4. <br />and 903.020.D.5 of this Ordinance, the construction of an additional <br />garage structure, an additional accessory building, or an additional garden <br />shed shall require the processing of a Conditional Use Permit subject to <br />the provisions of Section 921 of this Ordinance. When a Conditional Use <br />Permit is issued to exceed one thousand (1,000) square feet of garage and <br />accessory building area, the parcel shall not be eligible for a detached <br />garden shed as otherwise permitted by Section 903.020.D.5.a.(3) of this <br />Ordinance. Any existing such sheds must be removed as a condition of the <br />Conditional Use Permit. <br /> <br />6. Outdoor swimming pools with a capacity of fifteen hundred (1,500) gallons or <br />with a depth of three (3) feet or more of water shall be fenced in compliance with <br />Section 903.020.F.6 of this Ordinance. <br /> <br />7. Every single family dwelling unit erected after the effective date of this Ordinance <br />shall be so located on a lot that at least a two (2) car garage, either attached or <br />detached, can be located on said lot. <br /> <br />8. No accessory uses or equipment which generate noise such as air conditioning <br />units or condensers, generators, swimming pools, and the like shall be located in a <br />required side yard of a residential use or a use abutting a residential district. <br /> <br />9. Little Free Library. A “Little Free Library” may be allowed as an accessory use <br />where identified in a specific zoning district, provided that: <br /> <br /> a. The Little Free Library shall be designed, constructed, and installed by a <br /> sponsoring group approved by the City Administrator. <br /> <br /> b. The sponsor’s representative must submit plans for the Library <br /> container/structure to the City Administrator for approval prior to <br /> installation. <br /> <br /> c. the sponsor must arrange for installation on city property, coordinating <br /> such installation with the City’s Public Works Department and any utility <br /> companies that may be affected, and shall be solely responsible for <br /> obtaining any necessary permits or other authorization. <br /> <br /> d. The sponsor must agree in writing to monitor the use and maintenance of <br /> the Little Free Library container/structure, no less than once per week. <br /> <br /> e. The City reserves the right to require removal or relocation of the Library <br /> when such removal or relocation is determined to be in the best interest of <br /> the City. The City may direct the removal by the sponsor, or remove the <br /> Library on its own.
