Significant trees shall be defined as those <br />existing trees of six (6) caliper inches or more, as measured five (5) feet <br />above the existing grade level. All such trees to be removed to <br />accommodate the project shall be tagged and catalogued by size. The <br />landscape plan shall be required to show replacement of the lost <br />significant trees on a one hundred (100) percent caliper inch basis, up to a <br />maximum thirty (30) caliper inches per acre of aggregate disturbed area. <br /> <br />H. Traffic Visibility. On corner lots in all districts, no structure or planting in excess of thirty <br />(30) inches above the street center line grade shall be permitted within a triangular area <br />defined as follows: beginning at the intersection of the projected property lines of two <br />intersecting streets, thence thirty (30) feet along one property line, thence diagonally to a <br />point thirty (30) feet from the point of beginning. <br /> <br />I. Glare. Any lighting used to illuminate an off-street parking area, sign or other structure, <br />shall be arranged as to deflect light away from any adjoining residential zone or from the <br />public streets. Direct or sky-reflected glare, whether from floodlights or from high <br />temperature processes such as combustion or welding, shall not be directed into any <br />adjoining property. The source of lights shall be hooded or controlled in some manner so <br />as not to light adjacent property. Bare incandescent light bulbs shall not be permitted in <br />view of adjacent property or public right-of-way. Any light or combination of lights <br />which cast light on a public street shall not exceed one (1) foot candle (meter reading) as <br />measured from the center line of said street. Any light or combination of lights which cast <br />light on residential property shall not exceed four (4) foot candles (meter reading) as <br />measured from said property. <br /> <br />J. Smoke. The emission of smoke by any use shall be in compliance with and regulated by <br />the State of Minnesota Pollution Control Standards, Minnesota Regulation Rules <br />7007.0080, as amended. The City may independently determine that the emission of <br />smoke created by heating systems or other purposes constitutes a public nuisance and <br />may abate such nuisance pursuant to City Code. <br /> <br />K. Dust and other Particulated Matter. The emission of dust, fly ash or other particulated <br />matter by any use shall be in compliance with and regulated by the State of Minnesota <br />Pollution Control Standards, Minnesota Rules 7009.0080, as amended. The City may <br />independently determine that the emission of dust or other particulated matter constitutes <br />a public nuisance and may abate such nuisance pursuant to City Code. <br /> <br />L. Odors. The emission of odor by any use shall be in compliance with and regulated by the <br />State of Minnesota Pollution Control Standards, Minnesota Rules 7009.0080, as <br />amended. The City may independently determine that the emission of odor constitutes a <br />public nuisance and may abate such nuisance pursuant to City Code. <br /> <br />M. Noise. The emission of noise by any use shall be in compliance with and regulated by the <br />State of Minnesota Pollution Control Standards, Minnesota Rules 7030 as amended. The
