<br />Little Canada Zoning Ordinance General Provisions <br />903-38 <br /> <br />2. The City Council may grant a nonrenewable permit for a period of time not to <br />exceed one (1) year for the temporary use of a mobile home as office space in an <br />“I-1” Zoning District. <br /> <br />3. The City Council, at its option, may require a performance bond or other <br />equivalent security in the amount of five hundred dollars ($500.00) prior to permit <br />approval to ensure that the temporary mobile home is removed at the time the <br />permit lapses. <br /> <br />4. Mobile Homes and Manufactured Homes shall be subject to the same district <br />regulations of the Zoning Ordinance applicable to single family detached <br />dwellings, provided that: <br /> <br />a. The structure is an average minimum of twenty four (24) feet in width. <br /> <br />b. The structure is in compliance with the Guidelines for Manufactured <br />Housing Installations, Inter- national Conference of Building Officials, <br />1983, and as the same may be amended. <br /> <br /> <br />903.080. LAND RECLAMATION. Land reclamation as defined by this Ordinance shall <br />be regulated by Little Canada Ordinance Number 170, Land Fill Operation Ordinance, as may be <br />amended. <br /> <br /> <br />903.090. EXCAVATION. Excavation shall be regulated by Little Canada Ordinance No. <br />103, Excavation Ordinance, as may be amended. <br /> <br /> <br />903.100. ESSENTIAL SERVICES. <br /> <br />A. Purpose. The purpose of this Section is to provide for the installation of essential services <br />such as telephone lines, pipelines, electrical transmission lines and substations in such a <br />manner that the health, safety and welfare of the City will not be adversely affected. <br />Essential services should also be installed in cognizance of existing and projected <br />demands for such services. <br /> <br />B. All underground telephone lines, pipelines for local distribution, underground electric <br />transmission lines, and overhead electric transmission lines and substations less than 33 <br />KV, when installed in any public right-of-way in any zoning district, shall require a <br />special permit approved by the City Engineer. No above-ground equipment, such as <br />utility service cabinets or boxes, shall be constructed without a permit from the City <br />Engineer. <br />
