MEMORANDUM

TO: Little Canada Planning Commission

FROM: Stephen Grittman

DATE: September 2, 2016

RE: Little Canada – Precision Tree – Rezoning to PUD

FILE NO: 758.09 – 16.21

Background and Analysis

Precision Tree, in association with RJ Marco Construction, is seeking to rezone the
property at 50 South Owasso Boulevard East, from its current designation of I-P,
Industrial Park, to PUD, Planned Unit Development. While
the applicants have occasionally considered additional building space, the current
regulations would not permit the applications to develop in a way that meets their
needs.

Rezoning to I-1, Light Industrial would accommodate more outdoor storage, but would
also permit uses and building materials that the City has sought to avoid along this
