<br /> <br /> STAFF REPORT <br /> <br /> <br /> <br />TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council <br /> <br />FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator <br /> <br />DATE: September 23, 2016 <br /> <br />RE: Call for Workshop to Review Tax Increment Financing (TIF) Districts Report <br /> <br /> <br />As you may recall, the Council authorized Ehlers & Associates to update the status reports on <br />our existing TIF districts. The purpose of this report is to help us plan for the allowable use of <br />excess increments in a manner that benefits our residents while complying with statutory <br />requirements. <br /> <br />Jeanne Vogt is preparing the report and will be ready to review it with us by our October 12th <br />meeting night. Staff is recommending we do this at a workshop to commence at 6:00 p.m. that <br />evening.
