MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 26, 2016 <br />RESOLUTION 2016-10-187 -APPROVE INSTALLING NO PARKING <br />SIGNS ON THE SOUTH SIDE OF OLD COUNTY ROAD C, AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Aye (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />FIRE <br />The City Administrator explained that part of the City's budget with the <br />DEPARTMENT <br />Fire Department has included a contingency line item to address extra costs <br />CONTINGENCY <br />that could occur during the year. He noted that this provision has rarely <br />FUND <br />been used, but the repairs on the ladder truck that cost $35,775.48 have <br />PAYMENT FOR <br />caused the Fire Department to submit for reimbursement this year. He <br />EQUIPMENT <br />stated that the Fire Department has paid the repair bill to fix the ladder <br />REPAIR <br />truck and is now asking for reimbursement. The City Administrator stated <br />that based on the City's agreement with the Fire Department, he <br />recommends the Council authorize reimbursing the Fire Department for the <br />repairs. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 2016-10-188 -APPROVE TILE PAYMENT OF <br />$35,775.48 FROM GENERAL FUND RESERVES TO THE FIRE <br />DEPARTMENT, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Montour. <br />Aye (5). <br />Nays (0).
