MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 26, 2016 <br />warranty is better with the second lowest bidder, and the two lowest quotes <br />were very comparable. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 2016-10-185 - A WARDING THE CITY HALL ROOF <br />REPAIR BID TO COMMERCIAL ROOFING AND SHEET METAL AT <br />A COST OF $17,600, AS RECOMMENDED BY THE CITY <br />ADMINISTRATOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Aye (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSIDER <br />The City Administrator stated the Public Works Director is recommending <br />ADDING NO <br />adding a no parking zone from midnight to 6:OOam on Greenbrier Street <br />OVERNIGHT <br />from County Road D south to the power line easement. He explained that <br />PARKING ZONE <br />this is the same thing that the City did on Ontario Road, Aspen Circle and <br />ON <br />Thunder Bay Road because of the parking permits required at the <br />GREENBRIER <br />apartments on the north side of County Road D. He explained that surveys <br />STREET <br />were sent out to the ten affected properties and five were returned in favor <br />of the no parking zone, and one was against. Based on those results, staff <br />is recommending adding the no parking signs on Greenbrier Street. <br />Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 2016-10-186 -APPROVE INSTALLING NO PARKING <br />12: 00AM TO 6.00AM SIGNS ON GREENBRIER STREET FROM <br />COUNTY ROAD D SOUTH TO THE POWER LINES, AS <br />RECOMMENDED BY THE PUBLIC WORKS DIRECTOR. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by McGraw. <br />Aye (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />CONSIDER <br />The City Administrator explained that the Public Works Director is also <br />ADDING NO <br />recommending a no parking zone on the south side of Old County Road C <br />PARKING <br />since it is a narrow road, and parking has been occurring on both sides of <br />ZONE ON OLD <br />the road which snakes getting through difficult.
