MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />OCTOBER 26, 2016 <br />Mr. Plowman stated that the new building would give a lot of screening. <br />McGraw asked how long complete construction and site completion would <br />take. Mr. Plowman stated it should take about four months to complete, <br />and noted that the outdoor storage areas and parking areas would now be <br />paved. McGraw stated he is concerned about how this will solve their <br />storage issues because this site has been a problem for years. He asked for <br />specific dimensions be added to the site plan. Torkelson stated that he was <br />concerned about the screening from the rear. Mr. Plowman stated there <br />will be more trees planted closer together against the existing city fence. <br />There was no one present from the general public wishing to comment on <br />this matter. <br />Upon motion by Fischer, seconded by Montour, the public hearing was <br />closed. <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTION 2016-10-177 - APPROVE A REZONING TO <br />PLANNED UNIT DEVELOPMENT AND A S UBDIVISION A T SO <br />SOUTH OWASSO BOULEVARD, FOR PRECISION LANDSCAPE & <br />TREE, SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS STATED IN THE <br />PLANNER'S REPORT, ALONG WITH THE FOLLOWING <br />CONDITIONS: <br />- A LETTER STATING THAT PRECISION LANDSCAPE & TREE <br />IS COMMITTED TO COMPLETING THIS PROJECT AND <br />DOCUMENTING THAT FINANCING HAS BEEN OBTAINED <br />FOR THE NEW B UILDING AND SITE WORK, <br />- PROVIDE THE CITY WITHA DEFINITE STARTAND END <br />DATE FOR CONSTRUCTION, <br />- THE SITE PLAN MODIFIED TO SHOW THE LINEAR <br />FOOTAGE OFALL OF THE OUTDOOR STORAGEAREAS, <br />- THE ENTIRE SITE MUST BE IN COMPLIANCE WITH CITY <br />REQ UIREMENTS PRIOR TO THE NEW B UILDING BEING <br />OCCUPIED, <br />- EXCEPT FOR THE AREA LIMITATIONS, THE OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE AREA MUST REMAIN IN COMPLIANCE WITH THE <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE REQUIREMENTS OF THE INDUSTRIAL <br />ZONING DISTRICT (I -P) AND THE APPROVED SITE PLAN. <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Aye (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />
