STAFF REPORT

TO: Mayor Keis and Members of City Council

FROM: Joel Hanson, City Administrator

DATE: December 16, 2016

RE: Avison-Young Listing Agreement for Industrial Land – Owasso/Woodlyn Area

Bruce Bahneman and Mark Angleson have forwarded a listing agreement for the industrial
property we own (53 South Owasso & 167 South Owasso) known as the Owasso/Woodlyn
redevelopment area. This listing agreement only covers our property. In my discussions with
them, it has been envisioned that other parcels will be added to the redevelopment area, but they
won’t be part of this listing agreement. The City would control this process by not executing a
purchase agreement until we are confident that an overall redevelopment program meetings or
objectives. I believe it is hard to pin this down too specifically depending on the final purchaser,
but I have asked Mr. Bahneman and Mr. Angleson if they could provide some additional
information along those lines.

Subject to the cancellation provisions and the comments of our City Attorney, I would
recommend entering in to this listing agreement as proposed.

Cc: Bruce Bahneman – Avison Young
Patrick Kelly, City Attorney
