Ayes (5) Scalze, Fahey, LaValle, Montour, Anderson. Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. The Director asked the Council's feelings for including other community identification elements in the project. Scalze pointed out that after the Little Canada Road bridge was reconstructed, there were bridges in St. Paul constructed with wrought iron railings. It was only after the Little Canada Road bridge project was completed that the City was made aware that they had the option of installing wrought iron railings. Scalze asked that the Director determine whether or not wrought iron railings were an option. Montour felt that the issue of community identification elements should be presented to the Planning Commission at their meeting tomorrow evening.
