<br />Parks & Recreation/Community Services Manager <br /> <br />The City of Little Canada is seeking a team-oriented, high energy, Parks & Recreation/Community <br />Services Manager to plan, administer and organize a quality recreational programming while also <br />planning and overseeing our parks and trails system. The position will also be responsible for <br />developing and implementing a city-wide communications/promotional strategy to foster citizen <br />engagement and community pride. The ideal candidate will have knowledge and experience in <br />developing and implementing recreation programs and facilities. This person would also have <br />excellent customer service and community engagement skills, including the use of social media. <br />The ability to work flexible hours is also essential. <br /> <br />Key requirements include a 4-year degree in parks & recreations, public administration, business <br />administration, or a related field; or any combination of education, training, and experience that <br />demonstrates the necessary knowledge and abilities including at least 2 years of experience <br />interacting with the public in a customer service environment.
