MINUTES CITY COUNCIL APRIL 26, 2017 Montour introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTION NO. 2017-4-64 —APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN 8 FOOT TALL SPECIAL PURPOSE FENCE AT 2680-2688 RICE STREET AS PRESENTED, SUBJECT TO THE CONDITIONS STATED IN THE STAFF REPORT The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. Ayes (5). Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: RESOLUTIONNO. 2017-4-65 —APPROVING THE CONDITIONAL USE PERMIT FOR AN 8 FOOT TALL SPECIAL PURPOSE FENCE ONA 25 FOOT LONG SECTION ON 2650 RICE STREET, AS SHOWN IN THE STAFF REPORT, TO BE MAINTAINED BY THE PROPERTY OWNER OF 2650 RICE STREET The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Fischer. Ayes (4). Nays (1) (McGraw). Resolution declared adopted. Montour asked why there was only one application and two conditional usepermits approved for two different properties. The City Planner stated that it is not uncommon to have multiple property owners work together on one application. McGraw wanted clarification that CVS understood what they agreed to with the fence maintenance. The Associate Planner stated that CVS submitted a written agreement to City Staff stating they agree to maintain the fence that Mr. Anderson installs on their property.
