MINUTES <br />CITY COUNCIL <br />APRIL 26, 2017 <br />ORDINANCE 812, <br />The Associate Planner stated that on March 22, 2017, the City Council <br />AMENDING THE <br />approved the Planned Unit Development permit for Cummings Mobility at <br />CITY CODE TO <br />2940 Rice Street. She explained that the approvals included that within <br />ADD CHAPTER <br />this District the applicant is subject to an annual City license for Handicap <br />825, HANDICAP <br />Accessibility & Mobility Vehicle Sales or Repair with Accessory Outdoor <br />ACCESSIBILITY <br />Storage. She stated that Staff has prepared Ordinance 812 which creates <br />& MOBILITY <br />Chapter 825 of the Municipal Code by establishing the license and <br />VEHICLE SALES <br />requirements specific to PUD District "F." She noted that Staff <br />OR REPAIR WITH <br />recommends that the annual license fee be $300.00 which is consistent <br />ACCESSORY <br />with similar auto related licenses. <br />OUTDOOR <br />STORAGE <br />McGraw introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOLUTIONNO. 2017-4-70— ADOPTING ORDINANCE 812, <br />CREATING CHAPTER 825 OF THE LITTLE CANADA MUNICIPAL <br />CODE TO ADD A LICENSE FOR HANDICAP A CCESSIBILITY & <br />MOBILITY VEHICLE SALES RO REPAIR WITHACCESSORY <br />OUTDOOR STORAGE <br />The foregoing resolution was duly seconded by Keis. <br />Ayes (5). <br />Nays (0). Resolution declared adopted. <br />INDOOR RETAIL The Associate Planner explained that All American Recreation is <br />SALES LICENSE downsizing their business and did not renew their indoor vehicle sales <br />FOR ALL license that they had to sell motorcycles and scooters at 2940 Rice Street. <br />AMERICAN She explained that Mr. Schiltz, the owner, had made other arrangements to <br />RECREATION sell the remaining ten scooters titled to his business, however that avenue <br />is no longer feasible. She stated that Mr. Schiltz has requested to renew <br />his indoor retail sales license from April 27, 2017 to June 30, 2017 in <br />order to allow him the ability to sell the ten remaining scooters he has. <br />The Associate Planner stated that this is also the building where <br />Cummings Mobility will be opening their business in a few months, and <br />only one indoor vehicle sales license is allowed on the property. She <br />explained that Mr. Schiltz is aware that once Cummings Mobility applies <br />for their license, his will become null and void. <br />Keis introduced the following resolution and moved its adoption: <br />RESOL UTION NO. 2017-4-71—APPROVING AN INDOOR RETAIL <br />SALES LICENSE FOR ALL AMERICAN RECREATION FOR THE <br />TIME PERIOD OF APRIL 27, 2017— JUNE 30, 2017, SUBJECT TO <br />
