4 <br /> <br /> <br />Task 4 – Preparation of Draft Master Plan <br /> <br />The Master Plan for the parks and recreation system of the City of Little Canada should reflect <br />the needs of the residents and visitors by setting standards for appropriate service, document a <br />comprehensive graphic record of the process, and provide a guiding document for the future. <br /> <br />The standards, through a strategic action plan, should identify the essential facilities needed to <br />provide and sustain the level of park and recreation services that are consistent with the <br />Comprehensive Plan that are supported and desired by the residents and necessary to support <br />the City’s seasonal visitor population. <br /> <br />The Final Master Plan must be formatted with a template that may be updated by the City <br />on an “as needed” basis. <br /> <br />Task 5 – Conduct Public Hearing on Master Plan <br /> <br />A public hearing shall be held on the draft document prior to placing it in final form. <br />Significant comments received at this hearing may be incorporated into the final draft. <br /> <br />Task 6 – Adopt Parks Master Plan <br /> <br />RFP SUBMITTAL REQUIREMENTS <br /> <br />Please provide the following in your Proposal: <br />• Cover letter. <br />• Understanding of the project, opportunities and challenges. <br />• Project approach experience of the lead firm in a brief profile. <br />• Relevant experience and professional discipline of the key individuals that will work <br />on this project. <br />• Provide three (3) client references for similar public projects led by the proposed <br />Project Manager completed within the past five years. <br />• Provide a proposed Milestone Schedule that illustrates the total project time to <br />complete this project beginning the day the Notice to Proceed is issued through the <br />end of the Final Master Plan Design/Meeting Phase. The desired completion date of <br />the Master Plan process and submittal of the final plan is February 1, 2018. <br />• Provide hourly rates for all consultant staff members and sub-consultant staff <br />members who may work on this project. <br />• Provide a maximum “not to exceed” Professional Fee amount inclusive of all fees <br />and expenses to accomplish the work scope as proposed. If it is anticipated <br />the additional services may be necessary, please include a <br />description of those services and the basis for charges. <br />• Proposals are due by 4:30 p.m. on Monday, May 1st, 2018. 12 hardcopies and an <br />electronic submittal are required. <br /> <br /> <br />
